Our sarong and collaboration with Rakesh are back!We have imagined a new pattern“blockprint” ecru background & burgundy flowers 100% cotton(Indian craftsmanship),pattern created exclusively with Rakeshin his family workshops,paisley print on ecru background, burgundy & brown floral pattern.
Blockprinting is a hand-printed, artisanal printing technique; patterns may be irregular.
The pareo isprinted & madein India in theRakesh's artisanal & family workshop.
Be careful during the first wash, the burgundy tones may bleed slightly.

Nous avons fait appel à Rakesh, et son atelier familial en Inde, spécialisés dans la création de block print. Les paréos sont en 100% coton et imprimés à la main. La technique du block print est une technique d'impression traditionnelle indienne.

Le faire bien
Le motif est dessiné à la main, reporté sur le bois, la technique consiste à tailler de façon très minutieuse le motif.
Le travail du block print, fait entièrement à la main, demande une précision et une patience extrême. Cela peut prendre entre quatre à six jours de travail en fonction de la complexité du motif.
