Tipasa
The basket
Tipasa combines know-how and passion. It is handwoven from palm leaves by Said in Morocco. The leather handles and label are assembled in Mr. Audouin's workshop in Cholet. We named it Tipasa as a tribute to another nearby shore and because it is reminiscent of sunshine and made with care.

Designed by Charlotte. Hand woven with palm leaves by Saïd's cooperative in Essaouira. The leather is made in Cholet, France, in our partner workshop for leatherwork.

Hand woven with palm leaves by Saïd's team. The natural color of your basket can be slightly uneven throughout. When Saïd gets the palm leaves, they are green, they dry with time and become beige.
For the leather pieces, skins come from already existing stocks. The animals were already dead (raised for their meat). The leather is tanned without chrome (plant-based tanning), it improves with time.

Note that the color of your basket might be uneven throughout. With time, the palm leaves will dry further and become entirely beige.
Note: the natural palm leaf color of your basket can appear slightly uneven. When Saïd gets them, they are initially green. They are dried to become beige, a beige which improves with time.
