Albert
You probably already know it, it's our essential blazer in the Mister k. wardrobe, today among our iconic cuts, I quote: our Albert blazer (almost internationally renowned since 2018).
Let me tell you his story...
As you know, I am a trained stylist ( graduated from Studio Berçot in Paris ) and deep inside me there have been countless obsessions dormant for many years.
The first that concerns us today, that of the quest for the perfect blazer... how many stores had I scoured for ages to find the volume, the ideal cut, at a reasonable price (otherwise you can imagine that if my finances me allowed it I would have gone straight to a tailor at the time). So a flash a few years ago, daring to start by creating my ideal wardrobe, starting by making THE most desirable blazer possible, at the right price, at the same time elegant and at the same time which can be worn without ever worrying about it. tire.
“Albert had to see the light of day, it was obligatory!”
The cup :
Once my drawing was finished, it was with Jean Michel, our talented Parisian pattern maker with whom I have been working for 15 years, that we set about this difficult task in October 2018: developing our perfect cut. Months later, after many and many adjustments, canvases assembled, dismantled, reassembled, Albert was there before our dazzled eyes!
No you are not dreaming at Mister k we develop ALL our models ourselves, from the drawing to the canvas.
Let’s get to the heart of our choice of details. Our 4-button double-breasted blazer on the front has two piped pockets, which give it all its elegance. Its fitted cut at the shoulders and slightly flared at the bottom are our secret for a crazy look.
Last detail and not the least, since his drawing, Albert has come a long way, with woolen sheets, houndstooth, navy crepes, smooth or ribbed velvet, there is however a version that was missing from his list of achievements... the sumptuous BLACK satin-backed crepe, woven in Italy, will be done on Thursday!
Finally, for us it's all about the subtle finishes, we chose a magnificent Italian striped lining, woven in Italy, and timeless tone-on-tone "horn effect" buttons , made in France.
In short, Albert has all the makings of the greatest, to make the dandies of Savile Row pale!
To reserve this new version of Albert in exceptional Italian black crepe, meet this Thursday (January 25) at 9 a.m. by email.
Above all, take care of yourself.
