ANJA PARIS is a swimwear brand that takes you on a journey all year round. We offer elegant, timeless swimsuits to allow our Anja women to make the most of their sunny escape. It's a responsible, but desirable brand: all products are OEKO TEX, our packaging is 100% recycled and we are launching an upcycling line and another in recycled polyamide!

The major key milestones already achieved at Anja: First hire, opening of two department stores (Galeries Lafayettes and Printemps), opening of our own boutique, entry into the Réseau Entreprendre, first bank loan, 8th swimwear collection, launch of our olfactory signature. When we rate them like that, we realize that we haven't been idle 😉!

When the lockdown was announced, I immediately put my teams into teleworking, they all went wherever they wanted, we obviously closed the store and took the necessary measures to keep the business going:

Our logistician is still working, with good security measures. The government encourages us to continue working if we can, none of my employees are partially unemployed. This already represents 5.2 billion euros for the State, I prefer that it spends this money on research and support for hospitals.

Concerning the future, I think we will fall quite behind in terms of turnover. We were supposed to open a store in April in Saint Tropez, a project axis which is obviously offbeat. We will try to catch up. I think people will be more careful about their spending, their travels and they will be less suspicious from September, it will take time in my opinion.

My mantra would be: What if I fall, oh but baby what if you fly? We don't know what the future has in store for us, so we might as well try everything to avoid having regrets.

In these circumstances, I will advise you, if possible, to continue working to avoid a dramatic economic crisis after this health crisis. And to keep smiling and stay positive. We will all get there together!

I find that this period pushes us to be more creative, to continue to build strong ties with our community, to not give up and to stay positive.

At Anja, we try to reinvent ourselves. We have notably launched a competition for prints to be co-developed with our community, we are even more transparent about the situation, explaining everything that is happening, all the changes in the launches of the collections. We have always liked to be transparent, but here we are pushing our approach even further.

We speak more in video stories to explain each swimsuit, to guide customers in their choice. We are trying to find alternatives to all of this.

My Mister k mantra would be: Never give up”. I think it’s the one that most closely matches my “keep working while you can” mindset.

My first reflex when leaving confinement: Hug my family.
