Last year, during our fall/winter shoot, we went looking for nature a few kilometers from Paris, where tranquility and greenery are de rigueur. It was there, in the Rambouillet forest, at the edge of a pond that I met this magnificent little bird. Don't see any oxymoron there! Far from being ugly, adorned with a crest and a thousand feathers in bright shades and colors, I knew it, I had my inspiration for next fall: the mandarin.
